VOB
VOB (Video Object) is the file in a DVD's VIDEO_TS folder that holds the movie: MPEG-2 video multiplexed with audio, subtitles and menu data. A long title is split into numbered files such as VTS_01_1.VOB and VTS_01_2.VOB, each up to 1 GB.
